Resource Profile: Encuentro de atención ambulatoria (Encounter) RDA

Perfil FHIR del encuentro ambulatorio de atención en salud, para su intercambio en un documento RDA en Colombia.

Información sobre un encuentro de atención en ámbito ambulatorio, mediante el cual una persona accede a servicios de salud programados o por demanda espontánea, que no requieren hospitalización ni estancia prolongada, y que se desarrollan en un entorno ambulatorio, tales como consultorios, unidades móviles o servicios externos.

Este tipo de encuentro de atención está orientado principalmente a la evaluación diagnóstica, seguimiento, tratamiento médico o consejería, y puede ocurrir en contextos de atención primaria, especializada o de salud pública.

Ámbito

Este perfil define las restricciones y extensiones aplicables al recurso FHIR Encounter (encuentro de atención), con el objetivo de estandarizar y representar información de un encuentro ambulatorio de atención en salud en Colombia, dentro del contexto del resumen digital de atención en salud (RDA).

Ha sido diseñado a partir de los lineamientos normativos definidos por el Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social, y está armonizado con la Guía de Implementación FHIR Core Colombia.

Características del encuentro

• Generalmente programado: aunque también puede ser por demanda directa.
• De corta duración: atención puntual, sin internación.
• Lugar: consultorios médicos, centros de salud, unidades móviles, servicios externos hospitalarios, entre otros.
• Motivo clínico amplio: desde controles de enfermedades crónicas, valoración por síntomas leves, interconsultas especializadas, hasta actividades de promoción y prevención.
• Alta el mismo día: el paciente no permanece en observación ni hospitalizado tras la atención.
• Seguimiento posible: puede generar nuevos encuentros o planes de cuidado posteriores.

Uso previsto

Este perfil está diseñado para ser implementado por:

• Plataforma de interoperabilidad del Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social.
• Instituciones Prestadoras de Servicios de Salud.
• Sistemas de información en salud (HIS, HCE, LIS, RIS, etc.).
• Repositorios de datos clínicos (CDR).
• Proveedores y consumidores de servicios interoperables de salud.

Se espera que sea utilizado principalmente en el escenario de intercambio del Resumen Digital de Atención (RDA).

Restricciones y extensiones clave

• Se requiere el uso de terminologías controladas nacionales.
• Se aplican restricciones sobre elementos obligatorios y cardinalidad.
• Utiliza extensiones para representar información adicional relevante para el contexto colombiano.
