Información sobre una Institución Prestadora de Servicios de Salud (IPS). Es una entidad, pública o privada, legalmente constituida y habilitada por la autoridad sanitaria competente en Colombia, cuya finalidad es ofrecer, de manera directa o a través de terceros, servicios de salud a las personas, en los diferentes niveles de atención y modalidades (ambulatoria, hospitalaria, de urgencias, domiciliaria, entre otras), conforme a los estándares técnicos, administrativos y de calidad establecidos en la normatividad vigente.

Ámbito

Este perfil define las restricciones y extensiones aplicables al recurso FHIR Organization (Organización), con el objetivo de estandarizar y representar información de una Institución Prestadora de Servicios de Salud (IPS), dentro del contexto del resumen digital de atención en salud (RDA).

Ha sido diseñado a partir de los lineamientos normativos definidos por el Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social, y está armonizado con la Guía de Implementación FHIR Core Colombia.

Características

• Figura legal registrada: debe estar inscrita en el Registro Especial de Prestadores de Servicios de Salud (REPS).
• Habilitación obligatoria: requiere habilitación por parte de la secretaría de salud territorial o del Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social, conforme a la Resolución 3100 de 2019 (o la que la sustituya).
• Cobertura de servicios: puede ofrecer uno o varios servicios habilitados, como consulta general, especializada, laboratorio clínico, hospitalización, cirugía, etc.
• Modalidades de atención: incluye atención ambulatoria, hospitalaria, domiciliaria, telemedicina, entre otras.
• Actores diversos: incluye hospitales, clínicas, centros de salud, laboratorios, consultorios, unidades móviles, servicios de transporte asistencial, etc.

Uso previsto

Este perfil está diseñado para ser implementado por:

• Plataforma de interoperabilidad del Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social.
• Instituciones Prestadoras de Servicios de Salud.
• Sistemas de información en salud (HIS, HCE, LIS, RIS, etc.).
• Repositorios de datos clínicos (CDR).
• Proveedores y consumidores de servicios interoperables de salud.

Se espera que sea utilizado principalmente en el escenario de intercambio del Resumen Digital de Atención (RDA).
