Resource Profile: Encuentro de atención de urgencias en salud (Encounter) RDA

Perfil FHIR del encuentro de atención de urgencias en salud (urgencia que genera observación), para su intercambio en un documento RDA en Colombia.

Información sobre la atención de urgencias que se inicia cuando una persona acude o es llevada a un servicio de salud por una condición aguda, inesperada o potencialmente grave, que requiere atención médica inmediata, sin programación previa.

Este tipo de atención tiene como propósito estabilizar al paciente, resolver o controlar el evento agudo, y tomar decisiones oportunas sobre la necesidad de traslado, hospitalización o alta.

Ámbito

Este perfil define las restricciones y extensiones aplicables al recurso FHIR Encounter (encuentro de atención), con el objetivo de estandarizar y representar información de un encuentro de atención de urgencias en salud en Colombia, dentro del contexto del resumen digital de atención en salud (RDA).

Ha sido diseñado a partir de los lineamientos normativos definidos por el Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social, y está armonizado con la Guía de Implementación FHIR Core Colombia.

Características del encuentro

• No programado: se da por demanda espontánea o referencia inmediata.
• De inicio súbito: puede estar relacionado con síntomas intensos, traumatismos, infecciones agudas, crisis de enfermedades crónicas, entre otros.
• Tiempo crítico: requiere evaluación médica rápida y decisiones diagnósticas y terapéuticas inmediatas.
• Lugar: generalmente ocurre en servicios de urgencias habilitados, incluidos servicios prehospitalarios (como ambulancias).
• Duración: puede ser corto (solo atención en urgencias) o prolongarse si el paciente es hospitalizado.
• Finalización: puede terminar en alta, referencia, observación, hospitalización o traslado.

Uso previsto

Este perfil está diseñado para ser implementado por:

• Plataforma de interoperabilidad del Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social.
• Instituciones Prestadoras de Servicios de Salud.
• Sistemas de información en salud (HIS, HCE, LIS, RIS, etc.).
• Repositorios de datos clínicos (CDR).
• Proveedores y consumidores de servicios interoperables de salud.

Se espera que sea utilizado principalmente en el escenario de intercambio del Resumen Digital de Atención (RDA).

Restricciones y extensiones clave

• Se requiere el uso de terminologías controladas nacionales.
• Se aplican restricciones sobre elementos obligatorios y cardinalidad.
• Utiliza extensiones para representar información adicional relevante para el contexto colombiano.
